Review: Collaborator, Fringe 2026

August 9, 2026 by Bronwen Winter Phoenix Leave a Comment

Collaborator is an intimate, tender and very personal tribute to Ockham’s Razor and their 23-year relationship of working and being together. It’s poignant, sentimental, and at times, magical. Not to be missed.

A review of The Librarians: A Very Serious Comedy!, Fringe, 2026

August 9, 2026 by Bronwen Winter Phoenix Leave a Comment

Written by Matthew Howell and Jack Michael Stacey for Cabbage Productions, Librarians: A Very Serious Comedy! is a chaotic satirical farce comedy show about saving a library before it’s sold off to become luxury flats.

Review: The Second Best School Shooting, Fringe 2026

August 9, 2026 by Bronwen Winter Phoenix Leave a Comment

A poignant look at the reality facing teenagers in America, and coping the only way they know how; with humour. Some hits and a few misses in terms of comedy, with a powerful and important message.

Review: Blip Blarp – An Alien Love Story, Fringe 2026

August 9, 2026 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

Sci-fi meets physical cabaret in Blip Blarp: An Alien Love Story at The Mash House. A deadpan, blue-painted look at mixed signals, AI visual satire, and human romantic chaos.

Review: Lil Wenker – BOYKING, Fringe 2026

August 9, 2026 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

Want a Fringe show that truly challenges you? Lil Wenker’s Boyking delivers chaotic dark comedy, political satire, and terrifying audience interaction at Pleasance Courtyard. Unmissable.

A review of Larry Dean: Hellbent, Fringe 2026

August 9, 2026 by Guest Reviewer Leave a Comment

A funny and personality-driven show packed with jokes, callbacks and sharp audience interactions. While the flow isn’t quite as strong, there are plenty of reasons why this comedian is adored.

A review of Heated Rivalry: The Musical Parody! Fringe 2026

August 9, 2026 by Guest Reviewer 1 Comment

A hilarious, unapologetically queer musical parody that creates a genuine party atmosphere. You don’t need to have seen Heated Rivalry to enjoy it, although fans will undoubtedly get even more from it.

Review: Jess Robinson – Elton Reimagined, Fringe 2026

August 9, 2026 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

Pitch-perfect vocal mimicry meets the Elton John songbook in Jess Robinson: Elton Reimagined at Assembly George Square Gardens. High energy, great crowd interaction, and fantastic musicality make this a Fringe highlight.
