The The Beauty at the Circus Hub is a great location for Bernie Dieter’s Club Kabarett. It really fits their vibe. As the audience filtered inside, the live music breathed extra life into the venue before the show proper even started! A great way to warm up the audience for the vibrant variety about to begin.
As the music played the troupe were handing out fun little flags with words like ‘filthy’ and ‘weirdo’. An early indication that this show embraces misfits.
Mistress of Mayhem
The Kabarett proper begins with a bang of energy. Bernie Dieter quickly shows what an engaging entertainer she is during the first musical number (which is still stuck in my head). During this there is also crowd interaction and ample laughs from the audience.
She shows an abundance of dazzling charisma throughout the show. Bernie Dieter is a fantastic frontwoman for this stunning spectacle of a show.
The live music really adds to the atmosphere and the show is brilliantly paced, there’s no room for boredom but it has appropriately slower sequences too. Also, the outfits worn throughout the show are downright fabulous!
Leave Your Burdens Behind
Some of the earlier acts in the show include; terrific tap-dancing, a fantastic fire act, an incredible contortionist and a tremendous trapeze artist!
The acts are thoroughly impressive. So much so that they made it look effortless while the audience’s jaws were agape, mine included. This is a fantastic, all star troupe!
The troupe members do more than one thing each, so I’m not even mentioning everything in this jam packed, phenomenal show!
At one point in the show, Bernie’s singing effectively evokes emotions while her outfit displays the words, ‘my body my choice’ and ‘you will never own me’
This show has a great variety but it felt like everything fit together perfectly.

In various ways, Bernie Dieter’s Club Kabarett it isn’t afraid to make the audience gasp throughout this wild ride!
