Review: Jess Robinson – Elton Reimagined, Fringe 2026

The Edinburgh Festival Fringe offers plenty of musical homages, but multi-award-winning impressionist Jess Robinson brings something distinct to Assembly George Square Gardens this August. Returning with Elton Reimagined, running at 7:15pm in the Piccolo Tent through 30th August, Robinson pairs her vocal versatility with the iconic songbook of Elton John.

Collaborating with Musical Director Matthew Floyd Jones, Robinson delivers an hour of high-energy cabaret that reinterprets Sir Elton’s classic tracks through the distinct styles of female music legends. The atmosphere inside the Piccolo Tent is warm and welcoming, filled with friendly fans who gather under the spiegeltent-style canvas to enjoy top-tier musical comedy.
