What does 'El Al' in Edinburgh mean, anyway?

Et all basically means 'everything else'! There's plenty to do in Edinburgh that doesn't fit into the category of food, shopping, travel, festival, entertainment and businesses - so, we created this category to cover... well, whatever else we choose to cover!

Things like massages/wellness, competitions, experiences, events and even some appropriate Edinburgh-based headlines that have got people talking/captured our imaginations!

February 5, 2016 by Andrew Girdwood 1 Comment

Claire Connachan is the Challenge Manager for Love to Ride’s Edinburgh Cycle Challenge, coming to the city from 1 – 21 March. She’s been kind enough to spare some time for Edinburgh Reviews while we ask about the challenge. You only asking people to ride for 10 minutes or more? Is that really enough to […]

You may well have seen plenty of banking adverts already this year. There’s been some about getting back to basics, some about rebuilding trust and others that just focus on the money. Here’s an ad from RBS that tries to do something else; it’s about being useful in this mobile world. The ad is called […]

Edinburgh’s snowy March

March 18, 2013 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

The weather forecast is for more snow. In fact, the MetOffice has just issued an amber alert for snow for South West Scotland. We’re just recovering from the last bout of snow but this blogger was able to get out to Leith Links before too many footprints to take some pictures.
