Review: Children Are Stinky, Fringe 2025

August 8, 2025 by Guest Reviewer Leave a Comment

The show Children Are Stinky delivers exactly what it promises,  a high-energy, laugh-out-loud and over-the-top celebration of silliness that had both kids and adults in stitches.

Hot Concrete is a hilarious and unforgettable comedy show that pushes innovative and TV-worthy humour, leaving you wanting more from the talented duo of Henry Whaley and Charlie Billingham.

Review: Lose Yourself in La Clique, Fringe 2023

August 23, 2023 by Bronwen Winter Phoenix Leave a Comment

Admittedly, I’m not new to La Clique – it’s been going for two decades now and first started at the Edinburgh Fringe all those years ago – so a) its reputation proceeds it, and even if it didn’t, b) I know from experience it’s previously produced some of the best circus and variety on the circuit (circus circuit?).

A Review of One Night with Marilyn, Fringe 2023

August 17, 2023 by Bronwen Winter Phoenix Leave a Comment

I wasn’t sure what to expect from One Night with Marilyn but when I was very kindly invited along to Isabella Bliss’s show, and how was a girl to say no? Well, this girl was very glad she didn’t!
