Why You’ll be Able to Find Edinburgh Reviews in PBH’s Wee Blue Book this Year

August 18, 2023 by Girdy & Birdy Leave a Comment

If you’ve been following Edinburgh Reviews during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this year, you’ll have noticed we’ve been publishing a lot of coverage. It’s not only the first year we’ve been media accredited, it’s also the first year we’ve had a fancy new logo (designed by Birdy) to show off, and the first year we’ve […]

Edinburgh Reviews on the Fringe: Laxatives, head-butting vans and the day job

August 18, 2023 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

Disruptive football chants escalated to laxatives in my tea and being mildly electrocuted with a piece of copper pipe.

A Review of One Night with Marilyn, Fringe 2023

August 17, 2023 by Bronwen Winter Phoenix Leave a Comment

I wasn’t sure what to expect from One Night with Marilyn but when I was very kindly invited along to Isabella Bliss’s show, and how was a girl to say no? Well, this girl was very glad she didn’t!

A Review of Shenanigans Cabaret, Fringe 2023

August 17, 2023 by Bronwen Winter Phoenix Leave a Comment

August 16, 2023 by Bronwen Winter Phoenix Leave a Comment

I must admit, I’d seen the posters for Diana: The Untold and Untrue Story, but it was seeing Linus Karp as Diana that day during another show – The Retreat – that really sold it for me, and this show quickly rose to the top of my must-see list.

Review: 60 Minutes of Mood Swings, Fringe 2023

August 15, 2023 by Bronwen Winter Phoenix Leave a Comment

I didn’t really know what to expect from musical comedy 60 Minutes of Mood Swings and was really pleasantly surprised – I saw the show on its first day, and for me it was just perfect.

A review of Colleen Lavin: Do the Robots Think I’m Funny?, Fringe 2023

August 15, 2023 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

Colleen Lavin was the most nervous of all the comedians I’ve seen this Fringe, and perhaps that’s why Murderbot listens in judgement. I enjoyed it, but I’m a techhead.
