Hello, hello. This isn’t a review. This is a competition to giveaway some alistondesigns keyrings. I bought two when Amy had a stall at Moonwake Beer’s autumn market.
Shopping in Edinburgh doesn't have to break the bank!
If there's one thing Edinburgh certainly is not lacking, it's shops! In the city centre alone, there's all the main locations such as Princes Street, St James Quarter, Waverley Mall, and the Royal Mile.
Scattered between the big-name brands, designers and boutiques, you'll find so many smaller, independent shops and retailers - where there's something to suit just about every budget!
Here at Edinburgh Reviews, sometimes we cover shops that have just recently opened, or have held events - and sometimes you'll discover some amazing local deals.

A review of WeeKett: The smart kettle
A kettle that can be easily configured to heat water precisely, remotely and then stays warm is really handy. A “smart kettle” sounds like a luxury and perhaps pointless item, but it really isn’t! I’ve found the WeeKett to be a handy timesaver, and I’ve not even had it winter yet.
A review of the Urban Jungle Brunch Room by Seb’s Urban Jungle on Leith Walk
A friendly cafe and plant shop, what a great combination, and an oasis of green near the urban throb of the foot of Leith Walk. It’s one I recommend.
A review of The Good Store, a package-free eco-larder in Inverleith
A clean and open eco-larger with a range of foodstuffs that don’t generate as much waste or landfill as the international tax-reducing supermarkets do.
A review of Plantz, A delicatessen and vegan bakeshop in Inverleith
Tasty, super-fresh and entirely plant-based food (although you might struggle to accept some of the “fakes” are “fake”) sold in an impressively clean, well run and friendly shop. Visit.
A review of ShirtStak, ethical geeky t-shirt subscription
In this review, I’ll look at the quality of ShirtStak’s production and shipping as I chart my quest for ethical subscription models.
A review of Truffle Shuffle’s Pusheen doormat
Is £15 good value or not for a doormat? It feels like the sort of item, like toilet seats; you never think about how much it might cost until that one time.
Buy Edinburgh socks; help the homeless
Stand 4 Socks say they’ve donated more than 150K pairs of socks. That’s great and horrible at the same time. Surely we can do something about the housing crisis.
