Two weeks of animatronic dinosaurs at Ocean Terminal

March 18, 2016 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

Looking for something to entertain the kids with this Easter? Looking for something to entertain yourself with this Easter? Ocean Terminal continues its evolution, following on from adding a mammoth H&M store, and will be bringing 12 large dinosaurs to the centre!

dinosaurs

The 12 large animatronic dinosaurs will be unleashed on 25th of March and will stay at Ocean Terminal until 10th April.

There will be a Tyrannosaurus Rex among the giant dinosaurs. In addition, children will have the chance to ride on the back of one of the models, have their picture taken beside a baby T-Rex, help excavate for dino bones and take home a souvenir drawing.

How much does it cost? It’s free

When are the dinosaurs at Ocean Terminal?

There are opening times for the dinosaur events. An open Ocean Terminal doesn’t mean the Easter entertainment will be in full swing. To avoid disappointment check out the workshop hours below.

Monday to Friday: 12pm – 4pm
Sunday and Saturday: 11am – 5pm

Festive fusion food? Mince Pie Samosa at @sabzi_2021 (newly enhanced with a 9 o'clock licence).
Birdy’s festive dinner @thebotanistuk! A wonderful time was had. Full review coming soon! #edinburghreviews #festivedinner #edinburgh #christmas #edinburghchristmas #diningout #eatingout
A charming pink and green cafe with a clear plant-based foodie focus. @heyplantbae is one of the surprisingly common jewels on Easter Road and is absolutely worth visiting. https://buff.ly/4a7qnfB
If you don't fancy the crowd intensity of the #christmasmarket or the prices then @iceangels_edin is maybe 10 minutes walk away, about a third cheaper for a third more (well, based on my thorough crêpe testing) and they have a #santa mailbox. There's even Christmas Trees for sale up the road. An alternative evening out.
Somewhere new for #sugarsunday as Girdy visits @marias_kitchen21 for a delicious Italian limoncello bread and butter pudding.
The #christmasmarket at @edinburghpalette is on the third floor and open until 4pm.
