A Travel Guide to Edinburgh

Edinburgh Reviews is written by locals for locals and visitors to the city. In this blog, you'll find reviews and write-ups of places to eat from fancy restaurants (when we can afford it) and indie cafes (our home from home), things to to, local theatre, galleries, any pretty much anything else we fancy and the best festival coverage we can manage.

In the future, we may even publish area guides for places to eat in Leith, things to do in Morningside, places to visit in Portobello and other area guides.

BrickLive is a temporary but fantastic addition to Edinburgh Zoo. These giant, non-LEGO animal sculptures further entertain kids and adult nerds while boosting education, appreciation of the natural world, and fundraising for charity.
