Fiona Walker is a drama school graduate who needs to choose a path in life – and teaching really doesn’t suit her, neither does becoming a lawyer (apparently the only two main choices) so… corporate world here she comes!

I didn’t really know what to expect from Shamilton! but being a fan of the musical it’s (loosely) inspired by, I knew that I had a media pass and I was not going to waste my shot to go and see this thing.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from One Night with Marilyn but when I was very kindly invited along to Isabella Bliss’s show, and how was a girl to say no? Well, this girl was very glad she didn’t!

Ahh, I’ve missed proper cabaret – where you get a real variety of acts. A lot of it (at least in Edinburgh) seems to have gravitated towards purely burlesque, so this was going to be a real treat.

I must admit, I’d seen the posters for Diana: The Untold and Untrue Story, but it was seeing Linus Karp as Diana that day during another show – The Retreat – that really sold it for me, and this show quickly rose to the top of my must-see list.

I didn’t really know what to expect from musical comedy 60 Minutes of Mood Swings and was really pleasantly surprised – I saw the show on its first day, and for me it was just perfect.

The show is a one-woman show – a monologue – performed by talented actress Maria DeCotis, who commands the stage and does so with confidence and air that makes you want to hang off her every word.
