A review of Sabzi, an Indian restaurant on Ferry Road

November 12, 2021 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

Stunning food simply presented without fanfare or arrogance but good enough to deserve both. Sabzi is going to win things and be recommended for years to come, I suspect.

An absolute gem of a discovery. Delicious Indian food in a clean, quick and friendly restaurant.

A review of In Touch, the Indian restaurant on Inverleith Gardens

October 10, 2021 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

Good Indian food, with lots of main courses, matching side dishes but no dessert options beyond coffee at all. In Touch does well with delivery but has a clean restaurant area generally staffed by one waiter.

Sponsored Video: Just Eat round up of Leith

December 16, 2013 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

I use Just Eat a lot. I get home from late, the kitchen is empty, I don’t have a car and it’s raining outside. The ability to pick a nearby takeaway over a huge range of styles and order something for my partner and I is high. It may even be more cost effective for me than buying a big pack of something from the supermarket that then goes off before I can finish it.
