Birdy made it along to The Underbelly’s Jersey room in enough time to ensure not being late (that’s not good for this show – you’ll be judged) to see standup comic Ali Woods.

Best of Edinburgh Showcase Show with Sian Davies, Ali Woods, Paul F Taylor, Rosie Holt and Darren Harriott is a cracking success. Showcases are a gamble, but this Pleasance Courtyard-based bet paid off.
