Survey suggests that the Vue at Ocean Terminal Edinburgh’s favourite cinema

March 23, 2016 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

Edinburgh Reviews ran a competition to giveaway a copy of Kevin Sorbo, Jason London and Tinsel Korey’s Avarice on DVD. In that competition we asked people to vote for their favourite cinema in Edinburgh.

There were nine cinemas to pick from but six cinemas got all the votes. It was a tough battle as the graph below shows.

The Cineworld in Fountain Park took the third place with just over 22% of the votes, the Odeon at Fort Kinnaird Park took second with over 25% of the votes but just out in front is the Vue at Ocean Terminal with over 28% of the votes.

Congratulations to the Vue for taking the top slot. There are a few reasons why people may have picked it over other cinemas. Parking is fairly easy out by Ocean Terminal, there are plenty of screens without becoming a dull megaplex and enough to do at the shopping centre to turn the cinema trip into a day out.

Is the Vue at Ocean Terminal your favourite Edinburgh cinema?

Do you agree with the results? Use the survey below to cast your vote in a new poll and support your favourite cinema.

Edinburgh gets excited by all sorts of things!
Books 📚 and beer 🍺 Two of my MANY weaknesses together as @argonautbooks at @moonwakebeer #leith this weekend!
Aaaah! Imagine the delicious willpower of @tastybunsbakery being at the @moonwakebeer market this weekend. They are!
A bit of imagination on offer from @luna_edinburgh for the @moonwakebeer event. I'm not too much of a believer but using #tarot to guide your thoughts is an interesting technique.
Imagine how amazing Calton Hill's #GiraffeAboutTown will look in the right light!
Let's keep Edinburgh green!
