A review of Kingdom Removals, Edinburgh

Moving home is a thing I really hate to do. I mean its all great when you move to a better home but its the getting there that’s a killer.

We have done that three times now. My first move my husband and I did ourselves using the 2 cars constantly running back and forth and getting as much as our stuff packed into bin bags, and any old boxes we could find around the supermarkets, and just bought all the big items anew like bedroom furniture and a new 3 piece suite for the living room when we got there.

Needless to say, it was a very bad experience, and things were broken and even lost, don’t ask me how!

When my husband got promoted at work and with our first child on the way it was time to move again. This time we hired a man in a van, and really it was a poor step up from our first moving experience.

The driver dropped one of our brand new mirrored wardrobe doors and a big crack appeared right down the middle of the door. And again stuff was missing when we got to the other side, like 2 bags of my finest and best clothes, We vowed then and there never again!

After spending five years in the Capital it was time to move again, once again my hubby got a better paying job, this time 40 miles away in Glasgow and I was now able to go back to work part-time with our daughter now full time in primary school.

This time we shopped around for a proper removal company, one that was fully insured and would take responsibility for any loss or damage that might incur.

After getting 4 or 5 different quotes we decided on Kingdom removals of Edinburgh. They put our minds at rest very quickly compared to the others. They impressed right from the start with fully customized boxes. They had a box for everything, even a coats hanging box that looked like a mini portable wardrobe.

They even offered to come in and pack everything for us to save us the stress, and although it was not cheap it was well worth it for us. On reaching Glasgow Craig and his team laid out every single labeled box in every single room, making it so easy for us to find everything, and put everything in the right place.

I would like to thank Craig Keddie and his Kingdom Removals team for such a great and hassle-free move. And if we ever move again, which I don’t think we ever will! I will be contacting Craig and his guys again.

Edinburgh gets excited by all sorts of things!
Books 📚 and beer 🍺 Two of my MANY weaknesses together as @argonautbooks at @moonwakebeer #leith this weekend!
Aaaah! Imagine the delicious willpower of @tastybunsbakery being at the @moonwakebeer market this weekend. They are!
A bit of imagination on offer from @luna_edinburgh for the @moonwakebeer event. I'm not too much of a believer but using #tarot to guide your thoughts is an interesting technique.
Imagine how amazing Calton Hill's #GiraffeAboutTown will look in the right light!
Let's keep Edinburgh green!
