Review: Jack Brookmyre – Impressionable, Fringe 2026

August 14, 2026 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

Jack Brookmyre brings sharp vocal impressions and provocative material to Stand 4 in his Fringe debut Impressionable. A tightly written hour that subverts initial expectations with heavy metal energy and spot-on mimicry. Worth a watch in Edinburgh.

Review: Jess Robinson – Your Song, Fringe 2025

August 6, 2025 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

A five-star review for a high-energy, hilarious show. Jess Robinson is a phenomenal singer and impressionist who fills the prestigious Assembly stage with ease. Even if you’re not an Elton John superfan, this tribute is a must-see for its incredible talent and comedic genius.
