From the travelling the US and UK throughout beginning of the year, 2026 brings the fringe debut of Liberace and Liza – A Tribute with a BANG!
What to expect
Liberace and Liza – A Tribute is the brainchild of the fabulous and wildly talented David Saffert and Jillian Snow, bringing together the stories and stylings of two of the biggest icons in the world of show business in a way that makes it mildly irrelevant that the two never *actually* graced the stage as a pair in real life.
Beginning with an introduction to our Liberace through some truly spectacular clothing in a tribute to our great nation (no comment on whether he is a true Scotsman or not) and glorious tinkling of the ivories to announce queen Liza.
Through stories and song they blend old and new iconic musical songs, some from Liza’s own repertoire and other very welcome delicious surprises. For the sake of the beauty of the surprise and authenticity of audience reaction I wont divulge the full setlist but let me say one thing- if you have yet to see Liza Minelli kazoo-ing to Britney Spears, believe me you have yet to fully live.
Performance
The comedic timing and synchronicity from David and Jillian is second to none and so precise it’s like watching a very fabulous well oiled machine. There is SUCH an attention to detail of the subtle and iconic mannerisms of both Liza and Liberace that the world has come to know and love, from the slightest eyebrow raise to voice intonation and of course Liza’s classic physicality to her singing and story telling. It is eerily similar to watching the real deal.
The riffing between the pair makes you feel clearly like you are in the presence of true best pals- ones who are both equally demanding of their moment in the spotlight.
Overall
The physicality, musicality and the variety in songs will have you laugh, cry and sing along and want to dance in the aisles. The atmosphere both within the show and amongst the audience on leaving was so joyous it felt like the ending scene from a musical.

Summary
Forget looking camp directly in the eye, Liberace and Liza takes camp by the hand and brings in home to meet Mother in Palm Springs. A spectacle of glitter, friendship and sass with songs old and new, there is truly something for everyone within the show- a definite DO NOT MISS for Fringe season 2026.
