Review: The Flying Bubble Show, Fringe 2025

August 6, 2025 by Guest Reviewer Leave a Comment

The Flying Bubble Show is pure magic, light, joy, and totally unique. With fairy-like charm, flying sequences, and breathtaking bubbles, it captivated both me and my 4 year-old from start to finish. A heartwarming, original experience for all ages for sure.

Performance

From the moment the show began, The Flying Bubble Show swept us into a light, happy world that felt like something out of a dream. It was fairy-like in the most enchanting way, soft, beautiful, and full of awe. The bubbles shimmered through the air, catching the light and the audience’s attention instantly.

My 4-year-old and I were completely captivated all through the show. The performer reminded me of a lost boy from Peter Pan, free-spirited, playful, and full of wonder. His energy was infectious, and the whole show had a gentle, joyful rhythm that left everyone smiling

Originality

What truly set this performance apart was how original it was. It wasn’t just a bubble show, it  was a theatrical experience, combining flying, storytelling, and artistry in a way I’ve never seen before.

The flying sequences were graceful and magical, and when combined with the floating bubbles, it created a sense of wonder that felt almost surreal.

Every element was so carefully thought out, yet it all felt so effortless and light. The energy stayed high, but the mood was always relaxed and happy no loud scares or chaos, just pure joy. The lighting was also great throughout, creating an enchanting vibe

Perfect for families and all ages

The show struck the perfect balance between entertainment for children and magic for adults. There was a lot of gentle humour and clever interaction, with kids invited to take part on stage, but also moments of quiet beauty that everyone could appreciate.

My child was completely engaged the entire time, and I found myself just as delighted. It felt like the kind of performance that brings out the child in everyone. Whether you’re 4 or 84, it offers something special, a reminder to slow down, smile, and believe in a little bit of magic!

We left the theatre feeling light, happy, and full of joy. My little one has been talking about it ever since and to be honest, so have I. The Flying Bubble Show is something truly unique and special. If you’re looking for a family outing that sparks imagination and joy, this is it. Don’t miss it.

Maxwell the Bubbleologist himself even came out after the show to interact with the children, yes more bubbles and to take photos.
